How to Brew Chai for a Crowd
This guide makes enough chai for 15 people. The process takes approximately 15 minutes....
Boil 1L of water in a saucepan or pot
Once boiled, turn off heat and add 3/4C of chai masala. Also grate in some fresh ginger and some honey or sugar to taste, roughly 1/3 of a cup.
Turn heat back on and add 2L of your choice of milk. We suggest soy milk but you can also use almond, cows or rice milk (something preferably creamy).
Once chai has come up to high heat and has darkened in colour you can strain into another pot or heat proof jug. Keep in mind not to boil as the tea will oversteep. This last step shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.
