This fragrant combination of herbs is not only soothing but powerfully therapeutic. The lemony scents of both the lemongrass and lemon myrtle are soothing of the digestive system with the echinacea and astragalas boosting to the immune system. This blend is beautifully balanced, delightfully pleasant to taste and can be consumed either as a weak or strong brew, depending on needs.

Astragalas (huang qi) 

In traditional chinese medicine, astragalas has a long history as a powerful immune booster and fighter of stress and disease.  Astragalus is an adaptogen, which means it aids our bodies in reacting to or recovering from both short- and long-term physical or mental stress, and also boosting immunity and overall well-being.

Echinacea (echinacea purpurea)

Echinacea is widely used to fight infections, especially the common cold, the flu, and other upper respiriatory infections. Known to reduce signs and symptoms of the common cold or prevent it all together, this powerful herb is commonly used. 

Lemon Myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) 

Citral is the main chemical constituent of the lemon myrtle plant, giving it a distinct lemony flavour. The herb has minerals like calcium, zinc and magnesium, as well as vitamins A, E and C. Lemon myrtle is known for its antioxidant properties and is  useful in treating a wide range of ailments like upper respiratory infections, colds and flu's, and gastrointestinal distress. 

lemongrass (Cymbopogon) 

Lemongrass is suggested to help prevent the growth of some bacteria and yeast. Lemongrass also contains substances that are thought to relieve pain and swelling, reduce fever, improve levels of sugar and cholesterol in the blood, stimulate the uterus and menstrual flow, and have antioxidant properties. 


Brewing : 2 heaped teaspoons per teapot (5g of tea to 450ml of water)
